Is it just me or is there no link yet?
I'm really enjoying this series, thanks!
I was a little sceptical about the first post in this series - romantic ruminations about the Motherland leave me cold. However, the music thus far has been, almost without exception, excellent, and has introduced me to many new artists to investigate further. Thank you.

While I don't recall waxing romantically about anything (or at least it was never my intention to do so), I'm happy nevertheless that you're finding these sets rewarding. I feel pretty good about them myself. I'm also pleased that you'll look into additional works by a few of these artists.
Just out of curiosity, what hasn't worked for you?
Miles - many thanks for this wonderful music - and keep on waxing.
I'm just now catching up to this great series - thanks for this mix, Miles! And the essay that accompanies the first edition - your writing is always great.
